Mary E. Foley, Assoc. AIA
Mary E. Foley, Assoc. AIA, of Dallas, will receive the TSA Associate Member of the Year Award during the Society's October convention in San Antonio.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Mary began working with Raymond Harris and Associates Architects in Dallas in 2006. Within a few months, she took on the role of project manager within her firm, producing, maintaining, and overseeing the construction documents of nearly 150,000 square feet of retail space with each project and coordinating three to five projects at a time.
A seasoned community volunteer, Mary became involved in AIA Dallas in the fall of 20o8 when she was selected by her firm's leadership to participate in the inaugural AIA Dallas Emerging Leaders program. In 2009, she and two other Emerging Leaders participants assisted in the planing and organization of a significant urban clean-up in Dallas' historic Turtle Creek area. Soon after, Mary joined the AIA Dallas Associates Committee and began regularly volunteering for activities, such as assisting in the organization of ARE Prep lectures and the 2B an Architect program.
Mary received the 2009 AIA Dallas Associate of the Year award and was selected as Co-chair of the 2010 Associates Committee, where she is working to build Associate representation within the local chapter. In 2007, she received the Intern of the Year Award from Raymond Harris & Associates.
